Why Jockey?
The name ‘Portfolio Jockey’ reflects my passion for actively managing and optimizing client’s whole portfolios. It goes beyond the frequent buying and selling stocks like a ‘Stock Jockey’, encompassing the full spectrum of financial planning and investment strategies.”
I consider my writings also to be ‘jockey’ , as in they are thoughts from my mind without much structure. Which is why I started this blog and developed a mission to spread the knowledge I have with my clients and beyond.
Anthony's Story
Anthony J. Ciaramitaro [Shee-ara-mee-tar-O] is a securities licensed Boston Based Wealth Advisor at Boston Light Financial helping to develop strategic financial plans and build individually tailored investment portfolios to fit clients everyday lifestyles.
Anthony grew up in an Italian American family on the North Shore of Massachusetts on the working waterfront in a small town called Gloucester. While most kids enjoyed their summer breaks visiting relatives, relaxing on the beach, or sleeping all day, Anthony had the unique luxury to work unloading commercial fishing boats by day and serving tables at a local marina by night. Though he did not realize it during these long summer days, Anthony developed dedication, resilience, and the peace of mind to take pride in whatever it is you do.
In 2018, Anthony graduated from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire. Earning a degree in both Finance and Business Administration. Like any ambitious Wolf of Wall Street watching young graduate Anthony had his eyes set on working in the Financial Industry- and that is exactly the path taken. He started working in the back office at Eaton Vance in downtown Boston, however, in the first thirty days of working there his department was acquired…and then another few months after that the entire firm was acquired a by the much larger Morgan Stanley. Though working at MS there was a new learning experience to be had everyday Anthony knew there was much more he wanted to accomplish and knew he wanted to start working directly with clients every day.
This brings us to today where Anthony sits along side a vastly experienced team of advisors at Boston Light Financial. His passion for building tailored portfolio for clients to manage their financial wealth building goals still sits with his ambitious mindset from his childhood summers.
Today I want to share my knowledge and learn from my audience through this blog. I do not know exactly where it will take me but I hope my authenticity and experience of the stock market is of value of my readers.
